1. Who we are
Season Race Planner is operated by Susanne Lier, trading as Paddlefit ("we", "us"). We act as the data controller for personal data processed through the Service. Contact: susanne@paddlefit.ch.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, hashed password / authentication identifiers.
- Planner content: races, goals, training logs, race-prep notes and post-race reflections you create.
- Coach sharing data: coach email/identifier you choose to share with, and which planner items are shared.
- Support messages: emails and messages you send us.
- Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser/device identifiers, basic analytics about feature use.
- Payment data: handled directly by Paddle. We receive only order metadata (e.g. order ID, plan, country), not your full card details.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Creating and operating your account, providing the Service — contract performance.
- Sharing data with a coach you've explicitly authorised — your consent, withdrawable at any time.
- Customer support — contract performance / legitimate interests.
- Security, fraud prevention, abuse detection — legitimate interests and legal obligation.
- Product improvement and aggregate analytics — legitimate interests.
- Billing, tax compliance and invoicing via Paddle — contract performance / legal obligation.
- Service-related email (e.g. receipts, important changes) — contract performance. Marketing email only with your consent.
4. Who we share data with
- Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record for the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Infrastructure and service providers (subprocessors) — hosting, database, email delivery, error logging and analytics tooling, under appropriate data processing agreements.
- Your coach — only the items you have explicitly shared.
- Professional advisers — accountants and legal advisers where necessary.
- Authorities — where we are required by law to disclose.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside Switzerland / the EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
6. Retention
We keep your account and planner data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax and accounting records relating to your purchase).
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the Swiss FADP and the EU/UK GDPR where relevant), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. We aim to respond to requests within one month. Contact: susanne@paddlefit.ch.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, hashed authentication credentials and least-privilege database access, to protect your data.
9. Cookies
We use only cookies and local storage strictly necessary to operate the Service (e.g. keeping you signed in). If we later introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first and provide controls to manage them.
10. Changes
We may update this notice. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
